SUNDAY DANCE
As seasoned instructors, S&V will be assessing the level
of the entire group and will teach appropriately.
(C'mon - we're talking about the 2 greatest instructors/dancers in the world...)
With that said, you MUST have a FIRM grasp on Lindy fundamentals (Swingout,
Circle, Charleston) and
going between different rhythms. If you don't your brain will explode by
the second class and other students
will see the oozing from your ears - you do not want that!
Have your chops down before showing up to the show!!!!
THE LOCATION FOR THE WORKSHOPS IS USUALLY LOGAN SQUARE:
*** The plan for Logan Auditorium is as follows:
1) Participants will be asked to take belongings up to the spacious unused
balcony
2) We can create 5 lines of 12 couples - allowing more side space
3) When S&V demo, 3 middle lines squat down so outer 2 lines can see
4) We hope to achieve a perfect L/F balance by limiting the tickets
5) By working together and knowing the plan, we can maximize the # of
dancers learning in the space provided
* If there is an overwhelming response over and above 120, we will utilize a larger facility.
